Yesterday, we went to class as usual. We played some games in English. We had fun. After the school, we had lunch in Subway, we ate very big sandwiches there. Then, we went to the movies and saw a film: GROWN UPS 2. The movie is a about a group of friends who gathered after some years and they experienced lots of funny situations. It was a funny film and we laughed a lot. Before going home, we stopped by a lake to walk around and take some pictures. Finally, we went back to Winter Haven and Lakeland where our families were waiting for us.

Today at school, we did a test about the book we are reading. After this, we did another test about the adjectives we are learning. At the end of the lesson, we got the scores of both tests. Then, we got into the van and we had a really American meal, we went to Mc. Donalds. We ate fries, burgers and ice creams there. Afterwards, we came back to Polk State College. Once there, we played basketball and soccer in the basketball court. We had lots of fun and we've been really happy at doing some exercise! We enjoyed a lot!!!!

Yesterday, as usual, we attended our English lessons until 12.30 a.m. and we did a test about the book we are reading, The Hunger Games. After the class, we went to have lunch to Maria Bayona's parents restaurant. It's an Italian Restaurant called La Porta Rossa. The food was delicious. The most successful dish was the cheff's recommendation: pasta stuffed with cheese covered by a tomato sauce and grilled in the oven. After this fabulous lunch, we got into the van and we drove to Lakeland Downtown. We walked around Hollis Garden.  Hollis Garden is a Botanic Park set in a neo-classical architectural environment. This garden is known by its beauty and beacuse of the party held in the Columbus Day. Finally, we went to a nearby lake to feed the ducks.

 On Friday, we woke up earlier because we had a really special trip, we went to UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!!!
We arrived there about 10 a.m. and while father Nicolás was buying the tickets, we went to the NBA store, there we found basketball T-shirts of different NBA players and teams. After that, we came into the park and we got on Hulk ride, it was so fun, but we finished a bit queasy. Then when we went to another ride, it started to rain and lighten so all the rollercoasters were closed for our security. In front of this situation, we decided to have lunch and after that we went to the rides again. We came back at 7 p.m to the van and we arrived to Winter Haven at 9 p.m. and Lakeland at 9.30 p.m. There our host families were waiting for us so we can explained them our great day. It was a fantastic and unforgetable day.
