Today has been our first school day. We have all met at nine o'clock in the morning at Polk State College and we have attended our first English lesson. First of all, teachers have prepared an introducing activity to get to know each other. Then, we've done a writing test and then we did a tour around the campus. We saw the facilities such as the basketball court, which was our favorite place, the art gallery, the library and the canteen. Finally, we've returned to the class and we've done some speaking.

Hola familias, como podéis ver ya hemos llegado a nuestro destino. Los vuelos fueron bien y llegamos a Orlando a la hora prevista. Al llegar, las familias nos estaban esperando y cada uno pudo iniciar su particular experiencia.

Un cordial saludo desde los diferentes "blogs" de nuestros Cursos de Idiomas, cuya finalidad es la de ser puentes de relación y comunicación con todos los padres, madres, familiares y amigos de cada uno de nuestros estudiantes.

Deseamos, que mediante los mismos, todos nos sintamos suficientemente informados de las diferentes actividades y de la marcha general de cada uno de los grupos. Ello contribuirá a la tranquilidad y confianza de saber que vuestros hijos e hijas aprovechan y cumplen los objetivos que nuestra Organización se ha propuesto realizar: divertirnos aprendiendo y madurar como personas. De esta manera contribuimos a hacer realidad que el "saber idiomas es la puerta que te abre al mundo".

¡Feliz verano en familia!

Finalizada ya la estancia de todos los grupos, deseo que se hayan cumplido todos los objetivos que nos marcamos año tras año, no olvidando que el esfuerzo y la constancia son irrenunciables para que sea haga realidad el que "saber idiomas es abrir fronteras".

Agradezco, una vez más, la confianza que todos han puesto en Idiomas Padre Manyanet y les deseo que pasen un ¡Feliz verano en familia!

NEW YORK, NEW YORK!!!

At the Rockefeller Center

 Today  was our last morning with the families because we had to take a flight to New York to spend there some days and the minibus, were waiting for us there. On our way to the hotel the guide showed us Queens and Brooklyn.  After that we walked through 5^th Avenue and central park during the afternoon and Times square at night. It was funny because we appeared in one of the time’s square screens. To end an exhausting day, we had an ice cream, and we returned to the hotel.

Tomorrow 27th July, we´ll take the plane AA630 at 10:55 h.

 We'll arrive at JFK New York at 13:30 h (19:30 in Spain).

Good bye Florida

Before enter in the cinema

Today was the last day doing classes in the Polk State College and stayed with our host families. We could say goodbye to Mrs Hoffman, our teacher during this month. We have tried to approach and enjoy our last class with her. After that we have taken our graduate certificated at the end of the class. Then, we have gone to have lunch in Cici's Pizza  restaurant again. So, we have realized our last activity in Winter Heaven which has been gone to the cinema to watch Ted. It has been a funny film, especially for some people. Finally we have enyoyed of our last travel in the van and we have returned with our families to pass the last hours with them overhere. Thank you for everything, are awesome!

 Today it was our last day with our host families.It has been the last day of classes too so we received an award from Barbara Hoffman ( our teacher) and Teresa Martinez (coordinator of the program).

 We are very glad for all the things they have done to us.
