Albert's Birthday !!!

Pete and John, Albert's host family, have prepare a party. Some of us were there. It has been a nice afternoon.  Happy Birthday Albert!!!

A very hot day ...

Today 20^th of July we didn’t have class but we met  in the college as every day at 9 a.m. to go to Bush Gardens.

After one hour and a half of trip we could enjoyed all the roller coaster. Sheikra was very amazing and probably my favorite. It had an impressive descent and also flips.

Today was a really hot day and we have to buy a lot of drinks. In the park  there were some restaurants but I ate in a buffet with some of my friends.

After that we continued with our tour in the park.

Finally at 5:30 pm we met because was the time to back home. It was a good day but it was very hot.

Students from Spain House Party!!!

Today, June 19th, we had English class in which we had to present our commercial about "The Hunger Games" to get sponsors for Peeta and Katniss, the characters of this book. And then we read some chapters of this book. After that, we went to Pizza Hut to have lunch. Then we had very little time to go to the supermarket “Wall Mart”.

Later we went back to the college and there we played sports like soccer and basketball. Afterwards, we went to Dr. Boyer’s home where we swam in the pool, went on the obstacle course and  celebrated Albert's 16^th birthday. Dr. Boyer’s family are the host family of Alba.

2nd shopping day

Wednesday, 18 of July, 2012.

Today, so as any day of the week, we had class in college. Today's class principally consisted in word use and in continue reading the book Hunger Games, thanks to its intense moments we are learning while we entertain ourselves. After lesson we moved to the Premium Outlets in Orlando, where we ate. After a brief lunch to recharge, we begun the shopping. In the outlet we had the opportunity to visit the principal clothing brands: Nike, Adidas, Gap, Polo, etc. The outlet was so huge that we couldn't see it completely. After that, with various degrees of success we found things to buy. After shopping, all exhausted, we returned with our families to home.

Today, June 17th, we made an interesting trip to the Aviation Museum, but first in the morning, we went to Polk State College to take our English lesson. At 12:30 we left PSC and we went to have lunch at Golden Corral, a buffet restaurant where we could ate everything we wanted to. 

Afterwards, we went to the Aviation Museum, where a guide showed us a lot of different planes. Some of them were really old and other ones were practically new. Our guide told us that every single plane there was prepared to fly. We also saw a collection of almost all Howard Hughes' personal belongings (for those who don’t know who Howard Hughes was, he was represented and played by Leonardo Di Caprio in a movie, “The Aviator”). We also could see the amazing F14D, an American Air Force plane, or better said, an American fighter plane. The guide told us that its mission wasn’t to fight in an air battle, but to keep Peace in a war. Everything we learned today was very interesting. We loved our trip to the Sun n'Fun Museum.

Today, Monday 16th of July, we have had to wake up quite early because of the English class, in which we read a chapter of "The Hunger Games", and later we used the computers to search for an interesting new. Then, we had dinner at "Los Olivos", the Mexican restaurant from Asbel's family; and as we had planned, we went to the swimming pool. Unfortunately it started to rain and we had to leave the pool due to an electric storm. We had only 20 minutes approximately to be there, so then we still had 2 hours left. We went to the Polk State College (where we do the classes) and some of us played ping-pong, while others played video games.

As every day, we left at 17:30 and waited the families to pick us.

Today, Friday 13th of July 2012, we had three hours of English class in the morning, in which we read our English reading book named "The Hunger Games". Then, we went to the "Kentucky Fried chicken" to have meal. Afterwards, we had over twenty-five minutes to go the supermarket (shopping).

Then, we went to the Polk State College to play some soccer in the gym for about two hours or even a bit more, and we got very tired. After that, we had to leave to our homes. Finally our families picked up in the College at six o'clock and then I got home at about quarter past six.
